Once a MyTaxes.ky.gov Portal account is created, a user can associate themselves as either a Taxpayer Administrator or an Authorized User.
Taxpayer Administrators are business owners or employee(s) of the business authorized to represent the business for all Department of Revenue (DOR) matters. This user type has full access to all functions available on the MyTaxes.ky.gov Portal and can delegate access to Authorized Users. To receive Taxpayer Administrator access, MyTaxes.ky.gov Portal users must authenticate themselves with information known to Department Of Revenue and the taxpayer.
Authorized Users are any users who are authorized to perform specified actions on behalf of the business. This user provides their User ID to a Taxpayer Administrator who will grant appropriate function access.
